Bayamón body shop property sells for $1,450,000, up from $650,000
Premier Auto Body and Paint Specialist LLC has bought the property at Carretera 864, Hato Tejas, Bayamón for $1,450,000, in a sale deed dated June 19, 2026. The property last sold in August 2018, in a deed recorded at $650,000: the new price is more than double that one.
The purchase followed a purchase option in the company's favor, dated October 15, 2025. A $2,000,000 mortgage on the property was dated the same day as the sale.
A body shop already permitted on the site
The company is not new to the address. A single business permit for a body and paint shop at Carretera 864, Km 2.1, was filed under its name on October 11, 2024, and is recorded as approved. A buildability pre-consultation for the same shop was filed on November 1, 2024, also recorded as approved, and an earlier application for auto body, interior, glass and paint repair, filed on June 2, 2024, was archived.
After the sale, on August 25, 2026, an application to correct the property's recorded land area was filed, so that its description in the Property Registry matches its actual size. It names the same registry property as the sale deed, and corrections were requested on it. No construction permit has been filed for the property.
