ETH Cargo Services opens $5.1 million logistics expansion in Carolina
ETH Cargo Services opened expanded storage and logistics facilities in Carolina on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with an investment of about $5.1 million, El Nuevo Día reported. The company serves the pharmaceutical, bioscience and medical device industries.
Two phases, 26,957 square feet
The first facility is already operating, the outlet reported. It covers 10,248 square feet and took an investment of about $1.9 million. A second facility of 16,709 square feet is under construction, with an estimated investment of $3.2 million, for 26,957 square feet across both phases.
The space has dry areas, temperature and environment controlled areas, and refrigerated areas, so it can store products with different conservation needs. The company has 18 employees and is recruiting to reach 27, the outlet reported. The Department of Economic Development and Commerce is backing the project with $437,215 in incentives for machinery, equipment and job creation. The governor and the department's secretary attended the opening.
A park space that was on the market
The company's permit filings place it at Local 4 of Victoria Industrial Park, on PR-887 in the Martín González ward of Carolina. A warehouse space of 10,248 square feet in that park, the same size the outlet gives for the first facility, was advertised for lease at $7,686 a month, about $0.75 per square foot, from April 2, 2024. The last ad for it, listed as Space 4, came down on January 28, 2025.
The company's first filings for the site came that same month, on January 9, 2025, for a warehouse for cold products with an office area. A consolidated construction permit for the warehouse was filed on May 23, 2026, and is recorded as approved. A business permit for the remodeled warehouse and offices followed, filed on July 9, 2026, and then a permit for a 400 kVA emergency generator, filed on October 6, 2026; both are recorded as approved.
The property last sold on August 21, 2019, on a deed that conveyed the park's two properties for $10,835,295, of which $6,091,501 was for this one. No sale of it has been recorded since.
