Remodeled Ocean Park house bought for $395,000 in 2020 asks $3,999,000
A seven-bedroom house at 60 Calle Soldado Serrano in Ocean Park, Santurce, that sold for $395,000 in August 2020 is now listed for sale at $3,999,000. The 2020 purchase was financed with a $375,250 mortgage dated the same day.
A remodel, then the ask
Permits for the work followed the purchase within weeks: a first approval on September 15, 2020, and the construction permit on February 5, 2021. The listing dates the remodel to 2021 and says the house is now run as a luxury short-term rental. It describes 397 m² of built area on a 775 m² lot, with six full bathrooms and a half bathroom, a pool and a garage. The ask works out to about $10,064 per square meter of built area.
The listing first appeared on August 13, 2026, and on October 29 it was still for sale at the same price. No sale at that price is on record: the last sale of the house on record is the 2020 purchase.
