Allied Logistics 100,000 sq ft Caguas warehouse clears an early review
A 100,000 sq ft (9,290 m2) warehouse planned under the project name Allied Logistics New Warehouse Building, on a property on Antigua Carretera Central in Río Cañas, Caguas, has an approved infrastructure recommendation request, filed and approved on September 28, 2026, under case 2026-704563-SRI-334520.

The filing describes a building in steel, block and concrete for receiving, storing, organizing, preparing and dispatching merchandise. An infrastructure recommendation request is an early step, filed with the permits office before a construction permit or consultation to check whether infrastructure is available, and it does not mean work has started.
The project filed several other requests the same day. An environmental recommendation request was approved, a buildability pre-consultation is under inspection, and a second infrastructure request was sent back for corrections. No construction permit has been filed for the project yet.
The property
The land covers 32,049 m2 / 344,971 sq ft of urban land in the C-I intermediate commercial zoning district and has 42 permit filings on record across all years.

The Allied Logistics name already appears on approved use permits for general-merchandise warehouses with administrative offices elsewhere in Caguas: one at Km 28.6 of Carretera 1 in Río Cañas, approved in February 2025, and one on Avenida Angora in Bairoa, approved in April 2023.
Across Caguas, 180 infrastructure recommendation requests went on record over the past 12 months, fewer than the 267 of the 12 months before, and other properties in Río Cañas drew 101 permit filings over the past 90 days.
