Numed Plaza clinic, 18,000 sq ft, files for Guaynabo building permit
Numed Plaza, a three-level commercial building of about 18,000 square feet planned to house an aesthetic medicine clinic on Carretera 2, Km 7.0 in Pueblo Viejo, Guaynabo, applied for a consolidated construction permit on June 22, 2026. The application has no decision on file yet. A consolidated construction permit combines the construction, remodeling, demolition and urbanization works permits into one.
Before that, the permits office approved three infrastructure recommendation requests for the project, filed on April 21 and May 28, 2026, and two health and safety recommendations filed on May 7, 2026. Since then the project has filed another infrastructure recommendation request on August 5, 2026 and an incidental single permit on August 18, 2026, which is incomplete.
A plan on file since 2021
The same clinic, under the name Numed Health & Aesthetic Clinic and with the same works description, has been in the permit files since 2021. Its site consultation, filed on September 11, 2022, was approved, and it won two more infrastructure recommendations and an extension in September and October 2025.
The 1,779 m2 lot is urban land in the Puerto Rico Land Use Plan. A $300,000 sale deed on it was recorded on December 30, 2025, the same price as its sale in March 2021, and 29 permit filings are on file for it in all.
Across Guaynabo, 215 infrastructure recommendation requests were filed over the past 12 months, against 343 in the 12 months before that.
