Isabela files second construction permit for elderly home annex
The Municipio de Isabela filed a consolidated construction permit on August 28, 2026, for an annex building at the Candido Crispin elderly home on PR-112 in Guerrero. It is the project's second construction permit filing, and it is under inspection.
The annex already holds a consolidated construction permit, filed on October 7, 2025, and approved. A request for administrative review filed on October 24, 2025, is incomplete. The filing describes the works as a new building annexed to the elderly home, for the area's elderly community.
A consolidated construction permit combines the permits for construction, remodeling, demolition and urbanization works into one. A filing does not establish that work has started.
Two more municipal plans on the same lot
Since March 2024 the municipality has pursued a separate expansion of the home: a two-level structure that would add 12 rooms to the existing centre. Two requests for an environmental compliance determination by categorical exclusion were denied in 2024, and an environmental assessment determination filed on October 22, 2024, was approved.
The expansion's construction permit filed on March 18, 2025, is under inspection, and a later one filed on October 7, 2025, is incomplete. A third plan, filed on August 27, 2026, would install a container car on the lot for storage; its construction permit and its environmental exclusion request are both incomplete.
The lot covers 7,232 m2 (77,839 sq ft) and has 37 permit filings across all years, including permits for the home's operation and its emergency generator.
